Any Khair you see in others, real or imagined is strictly a favor and blessing from Allah. He watches us wrong ourselves, becoming lost and out of His mercy He guides us back to Him.
Only He gives, (swt) and He takes away. In reality we are so desperate for His mercy, forgiveness, pardon and covering our sins, He is all we have. He can decide to leave me to myself and my heart would be unable to find Him or be drawn to any Khair at all. It's solely His mercy.
Anyone with to he slightest awareness of these facts would attach themselves to Allah out of desperation, as an utterly helpless and vulnerable human being dealing with this life.
