This reminder felt like a hug to my heart, my ears and my soul! I loved the fact you addressed the struggles it takes sometimes to overcome. Listening to you also made me think of how my mum describes how a body takes time to detoz too from all the toxicity or not so good stuff that has accumulated over time, so instead of reacting well straight away, sometimes the body gets sick before it gets better because for the longest time it’s been in a state of not being well but little were we aware, Subuana’Allah.

I had a thought when you highlighted that "striving" to push ourselves a little bit more when things seem easy. In order to return to fitrah. And I realised fitrah is not just spiritual/internal (nafs), it exists in physical dimension as well.Body has been damaged from all this toxicity in our environment, food and water, and the heart from disconnection from Allah and ghaflah/heedlessness. Need to work on both s to return to fitrah and realign to who we truly are. And we need to strive and push ourselves a little bit more to see changes, inshallah.

4 years ago, while on career break, I had been regular in recitation of Surah Baqarah. Haven't been since then. Baby steps, for now I am now listening to it in the morning and evening after work. Inshallah, hoping to build in good habits to cleanse mind, body and soul.

I was inspired to start reciting Surah Baqarah every week, at least once as an additional spiritual practice this Ramadan, but I haven't been consistent. Your post encouraged me to restart, and I also found a helpful audio on YouTube that splits the recitation into 10-minute clips, making it easier to stay on track. I feel like Allah is guiding me towards this practice for my spiritual betterment. Alhamdulillah - thank you for the inspiration dear sister. May Allah grant us the tawfiq to be consistent aamiin ✨🌻💛

I am looking forward to trying to put the advice you gave into practice In’Sha’Allah <33 and started as I was listening to you too, with my istighfaar, everything you said made total sense and can’t thank you enough for sharing all you did - never feels like a lecture when you share with us, more like an older loving big sister sharing the secrets and tips & tricks she’s learnt so you can win in this life and the next too In’Sha’Allah ☺️
