Releasing older versions is part of clearing space for the new aligned version you are becoming. While I'm talking about emotional clearing, there's also the physical and behavioral side of things that will probably need some editing. Those older versions still have their belongings, beliefs, and habits cluttering your present-day space.
People, places, spaces, and habits hold memories and energy that you have a choice in keeping, changing, or releasing. They can be reminders of a different stage that unconsciously keeps you bound to challenging times.
Just because it's how things used to be, doesn't mean they need to continue that way. Just because that's who you were, doesn't mean it's who you choose to be in the future.
